Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
SKIING Magazine Ranks Jackson Hole Number 1. The magazine searched high and low for the towns with just the right combination
of skiing and quality of life, two of the most important factors that skiers will consider in a relocation. After weighing economics such
as median home price, income and rental price as well as snow stats that include acres, inches and vert, Skiing Magazine found nothing
beat Jackson Hole. (Not even Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge, Park City or Stowe!)
Apres Vous Mountain With over 2100 vertical feet of groomers and glades, "AV" is known as our intermediate mountain. Wide open
groomers like Werner and Moran allow for fast laps on the high speed Apres Vous Quad. The slightly more adventurous might find themselves
in gladed areas like Saratoga Bowl or Moran Woods. Halfpipe and park riders will find their preferred terrain secluded between Werner and
Hanna. The base of Apres Vous Mountain flattens into our gentle beginner slopes, accessed off of Eagles Rest and Teewinot chairlifts.
Rendezvous Mountain This is where you will find the terrain that Jackson Hole is famous for: chutes, bowls, couloirs and glades make
up most of the terrain. There are advanced intermediate groomers and cruisers as well, runs like Rendezvous Trail, Grand and Amphitheater.
The tram travels 4,139 vertical feet above the valley floor to 10,450 feet (3,185 meters) above sea level. From the top of the Jackson Hole
Tram, you can enjoy some of the best consistent fall line skiing and riding in the world. The 8-Passenger Bridger Gondola(tm) offers quick
access to a great deal of the mountain from its summit, just below the headwall.
JHMR JHMR is totally a unique destination. Where else can you take a sleigh ride through 10,000 wintering elk, view herds of bison and be asked to
ski defensively to avoid moose on the cat-tracks? Or take in the annual Cowboy Ski Challenge where skiers are pulled over 40 mph behind
horses over jumps and other obstacles then kick back and drink Moose Drool in the famous Mangy Moose apres-ski hang out. Two National
Parks consider JHMR neighbors, statistics show a skier an acre (still!) on the slopes, and powder can be had in the backcountry almost the
entire season. If you are looking for pure unadulterated skiing and riding on the wildest mountain in the lower 48, Jackson Hole cannot be beat.
Mangy Moose Saloon The famous Teton Village bar with top-name, live entertainment. Apres Ski at the Moose is legendary! Established in 1967,
the Moose has been voted the #1 restaurant and entertainment complex of all North America ski resorts. Located in Teton Village at the base of the
Jackson Hole ski resort.
